I am a qualified counsellor with a first degree in Health & Community Studies from
the University of Liverpool. My counselling qualifications include a Postgraduate
Diploma in 'Counselling in Primary Health Care Settings' and a Master of Science
in Counselling, both from the University Of Bristol.
CPT( CIPD Trained) and possess a diploma in CBT.

My belief is that clients have the capacity in themselves for growth and the 'tools'
or resources to effect change in their lives. Often change can be blocked by various
situations in peoples lives which do not allow them to reach their full potential.
I view counselling as a way of exploring these processes in order to allow the individual
to discover meaning and the way forward in their life.
Counselling can be a challenging and a painful process and it is important to feel
safe and not judged in the counselling sessions. Therefore it is important clients
work at their own pace to reach the changes they want to make for the future.
My past working experience includes eleven years in three main Jobcentres in Bristol, Bath and Weston-Super-Mare, where I counselled client's mainly on work and health related issues. Using my skills as a life coach as well as counsellor I was able to help client's to find a route map to work and explore issues which may have blocked their everyday lives.
